Located on beautiful Balmoral Oval and only 100m from the beach, 1st Balmoral Scout Hall is a great location for children's parties and events. Please use the links below to check hall availability and to make a provisional booking subject to confirmation by our team.

Most weekdays ($70 per hour)

Cancellation policies:
Up to 7 days prior to your scheduled booking time: Complete Refund
Within 7 days but up to 24 hours of your booking time: 50% of booking amount
Within 24 hours of your scheduled booking time: No refund

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS AND GUIDANCE FOR HALL HIRE

Facilities

Fully equipped servery with oven and cooktop, 420L fridge with freezer, microwave and kettle.

  • Servery from the kitchen to outdoor verandah.
  • Male and female toilets.
  • 3-4 trestle tables.
  • 13 Plastic chairs.
  • Mop and broom.

You will need to bring the following:

  • Garbage bags.
  • Toilet paper.
  • Crockery, cutlery and drinking cups.
  • Kitchen spray and cloths.
  • Tea towels and napkins.

Scout hall hirers responsibilities:

  1. Sweep kitchen floor and mop up any sticky spills.
  2. Sweep the timber floors and put any sand back outside.
  3. Wipe down the kitchen surfaces and trestle tables.
  4. Ensure trestle tables are folded flat against the wall and chairs are stacked away.
  5. Please FLUSH both toilets.
  6. Take all your rubbish with you.
  7. Turn off all lights, especially the toilets and outdoor spotlights.
  8. Take all decorations down and take them with you.
  9. All door mats must be locked in the hall after the floors have been swept.
  10. Hirers must not interfere with any Scouting related posters, lanyards honour boards or flat stands in the hall.

Hall access details will be provided prior to your booking and is via a lockbox system on-site.

Please leave the hall in the same (or better) condition than you found it!
